Summary

CVE-2023-48042 is a Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Search filters in PrestaShop Amazing Filter up to version 3.2.5. This issue allows remote attackers to inject malicious JavaScript code, potentially leading to unauthorized access or data theft when a user visits a compromised website. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by crafting a malicious search query, which, when processed by the affected filter, executes the injected code in the user's browser. Users are advised to update their PrestaShop Amazing Filter to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
