Summary

CVE-2023-4802 is a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Insider Threat Management (ITM) Server's web console. Specifically, the UpdateInstalledSoftware endpoint is vulnerable. An authenticated administrator could exploit this weakness to inject and run arbitrary JavaScript code in another administrator's browser. Versions prior to 7.14.3.69 are susceptible to this issue. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized access, data theft, or other malicious activities within the web console. It is recommended that affected organizations apply the necessary patches as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
