Summary

CVE-2023-48013 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting GPAC v2.3-DEV-rev566-g50c2ab06f-master. This issue is caused by a double free vulnerability, which occurs within the gf_filterpacket_del function located at /gpac/src/filter_core/filter.c. The vulnerability can result in memory corruption, which could potentially be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service. Users are advised to update to a patched version of GPAC as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
