Summary
CVE-2023-47816 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Charitable Donations & Fundraising Team Donation Forms by Charitable plugin in versions up to 1.7.0.13. This issue stems from improper neutralization of user input during web page generation, enabling attackers to inject malicious scripts into the targeted website. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized access to user data, session hijacking, or even complete website takeover. Users are strongly advised to update their plugins to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
