Summary

CVE-2023-47800 is a vulnerability affecting Natus NeuroWorks and SleepWorks versions prior to 8.4. This issue stems from the use of the default password "xltek" for the Microsoft SQL Server service sa account. Malicious actors can exploit this weakness to execute remote code, exfiltrate data, or even tamper with or disrupt MSSQL services. The consequences of this vulnerability can range from data breaches to operational disruptions. System administrators are advised to update their installations to the latest version and modify default passwords to secure their MSSQL environments.
