Summary

CVE-2023-47795 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Liferay Portal versions 7.4.3.18 to 7.4.3.101 and Liferay DXP 2023.Q3 before patch 6, as well as 7.4 updates 18 to 92. This issue enables remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary web script or HTML into a document's "Title" text field, potentially leading to unintended execution of malicious code. This could result in session hijacking, data theft, or other malicious activities. Users are strongly advised to apply the necessary patches to mitigate the risk.
