Summary

CVE-2023-47758 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting versions 1.7.11 and below of Mondula GmbH Multi Step Form plugin. An attacker can exploit this issue to force a user into making unintended actions on a web application, such as changing account settings or transferring funds, without the user's knowledge or consent. The attack occurs when a user is tricked into clicking a specially crafted link, resulting in a malicious request being sent from the user's browser on behalf of the attacker. This can lead to security breaches and potential loss of sensitive data. Users are advised to update to the latest version of the plugin to mitigate this risk.
