Summary

CVE-2023-47746 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting IBM Db2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows versions 10.5, 11.1, and 11.5. This issue permits an authenticated user with CONNECT privileges to trigger a denial-of-service (DoS) condition by executing a specially crafted query. IBM's X-Force team has assigned ID 272644 to this vulnerability. This DoS vulnerability can potentially disrupt the normal functioning of the Db2 database, causing potential inconvenience and downtime for organizations using these affected versions. IBM recommends applying the available patch as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
