Summary

CVE-2023-47688 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting versions 0.6.3 and below of the Alexufo Youtube SpeedLoad plugin. A successful exploit of this vulnerability could allow an attacker to force an authenticated user to perform unintended actions on a web application, such as changing account settings or making unauthorized purchases. The vulnerability is caused by insufficient input validation and authorization checks on user requests. To mitigate this risk, users are advised to update to the latest version of the plugin, apply appropriate CSRF tokens to all vulnerable forms, or disable user interactions that could be exploited.
