Summary

CVE-2023-47665 is a newly discovered cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the edward_plainview Plainview Protect Passwords plugin before version 1.4. An attacker can exploit this unauthenticated reflected XSS flaw by injecting malicious scripts into a targeted website's URL. Successful exploitation may lead to unauthorized access to user sessions or data, potentially resulting in identity theft or other malicious activities.
