Summary

CVE-2023-47659 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting version 1.1.34 of the Lavacode Lava Directory Manager plugin for Auth. (contributor+). An attacker can exploit this flaw by injecting malicious scripts into a user's account, which is subsequently stored in the affected plugin's database. These scripts can be executed when the affected user or other users view the compromised account, potentially leading to unauthorized access, data theft, or account takeover. Users are urged to update to the latest version of the plugin to mitigate this risk.
