Summary

CVE-2023-4757 is a vulnerability affecting the Staff / Employee Business Directory plugin for WordPress and Active Directory before version 1.2.3. This issue permits users with control over their LDAP directory entries to inject malicious JavaScript. The plugin fails to sanitize and escape data received from the LDAP server, putting high-privilege users, such as site administrators, at risk. Attackers can exploit this flaw to execute arbitrary code, potentially leading to unauthorized access or data breaches. Thus, it is strongly advised to update the plugin to the latest version as soon as possible.
