Summary

CVE-2023-47549 is a newly discovered reflection Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the EazyDocs plugin, version 2.3.3 and below, of the spider-themes package. The vulnerability resides on the 302 response page and allows an attacker to inject malicious scripts into a victim's web browser, potentially stealing sensitive information or taking control of the user's account. An unauthorized user can trigger the reflected XSS attack by crafting a malicious URL that is then sent to the victim, making it essential for users to update their plugins to the latest version or implement proper input validation techniques to prevent such attacks.
