Summary

CVE-2023-47545 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting versions 2.5.4 and below of the Forms for Mailchimp plugin by Optin Cat – Grow Your MailChimp List for the Fatcat Apps platform. Maliciously crafted user input can be stored in the plugin's configuration settings and subsequently executed within the context of the affected website, potentially leading to unintended execution of malicious scripts and compromise of user data. This issue can be exploited by an attacker through specially crafted form submissions, putting websites and their visitors at risk of data theft and other malicious activities.
