Summary
CVE-2023-47520 is a new Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Michael Uno (miunosoft) Responsive Column Widgets plugin versions 1.2.7 and below. This issue allows an attacker to inject malicious scripts into a webpage by exploiting the plugin's unauthenticated input processing feature. Successful exploitation can result in information disclosure, session hijacking, or even complete compromise of the affected site. To mitigate this risk, users are strongly advised to upgrade to the latest version of the plugin as soon as possible.
