Summary

CVE-2023-47516 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Stark Digital Category Post List Widget. An attacker can exploit this issue, which exists from version n/a through 2.0, to perform Stored XSS attacks against unsuspecting users. This means an attacker can inject malicious code into a webpage that is later viewed by the victim, potentially stealing sensitive information, or taking control of their account. The vulnerability arises from the widget's failure to properly validate user input, allowing for the execution of malicious scripts.
