Summary

CVE-2023-47509 is a newly disclosed Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting versions 1.1.1 and below of the ioannoup Edit WooCommerce Templates plugin. An attacker can inject malicious scripts into a website, gaining unauthorized access to user sessions and potentially stealing sensitive information. The vulnerability is reflected, meaning an attacker does not require user interaction beyond visiting a specially crafted webpage. To mitigate this risk, users are advised to update their plugin to the latest version as soon as possible.
