Summary

CVE-2023-47350 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the SwiftyEdit Content Management System before version 1.2.0. An attacker can exploit this issue to trick a user into updating their password with a specially crafted request, resulting in privilege escalation for the attacker. This CSRF flaw allows an unauthorized modification of passwords, potentially leading to unauthorized access to the affected system. Users are urged to upgrade to the latest version of SwiftyEdit to mitigate this risk.
