Summary

CVE-2023-47181 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting versions 8.52 and below of the IdeaPush plugin by Martin Gibson. This admin privilege escalation flaw allows an attacker to inject malicious scripts into a website's pages, which can then be executed in the context of other users visiting the site. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized access, data theft, or other malicious activities. Users of the IdeaPush plugin are strongly urged to update to a patched version to mitigate this risk.
