Summary

CVE-2023-47126 is a vulnerability affecting the TYPO3 content management system, which is an open-source PHP application under the GNU GPL. In versions impacted by this issue, the login screen of the standalone install tool unintentionally reveals the complete path of the transient data directory (e.g., /var/www/html/var/transient/). This vulnerability is applicable only to composer-based installations, with classic installations remaining unaffected. The latest version, 12.4.8, addresses this issue. It is highly recommended for users to upgrade as soon as possible, as there are currently no known workarounds to mitigate this vulnerability.
