Summary
CVE-2023-47125 is a vulnerability affecting TYPO3, an open-source PHP web content management system. The issue lies in the improper handling of DOM processing instructions, which enables attackers to bypass TYPO3's cross-site scripting mechanism, known as typo3/html-sanitizer. This weakness puts sites running affected versions (1.5.3 and below for TYPO3, 2.1.4 and below for TYPO3 v2) at risk. No known workarounds are available, and users are urged to upgrade to the patched versions as soon as possible.
