Summary

CVE-2023-47125 is a vulnerability affecting TYPO3, an open-source PHP web content management system. The issue lies in the improper handling of DOM processing instructions, which enables attackers to bypass TYPO3's cross-site scripting mechanism, known as typo3/html-sanitizer. This weakness puts sites running affected versions (1.5.3 and below for TYPO3, 2.1.4 and below for TYPO3 v2) at risk.
