Summary

CVE-2023-4711 is a critical vulnerability affecting D-Link DAR-8000-10 devices up to version 20230819. This issue lies in some unidentified functionality of the /log/decodmail.php file, allowing an attacker to inject operating system commands via a manipulated argument file. The attack can be executed remotely, but its complexity and the difficulty of exploitation are high. Unfortunately, an exploit for this vulnerability has been made public, increasing the risk for potential attacks. Vendor VDB-238574 has assigned this vulnerability an identifier. Despite early disclosure, the vendor has not responded to contact regarding this issue.
