Summary

CVE-2023-47109 is a vulnerability affecting the PrestaShop blockreassurance module. This issue allows a Back-Office user to manipulate the HTTP request when adding a block and specify the path to any file on the project instead of an image. Upon deleting the block, the specified file is deleted. Malicious actors can exploit this vulnerability to remove critical files, such as index.php, making the website unavailable. The latest patch to address this issue is version 5.1.4.
