Summary

CVE-2023-47094 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Account Plans tab in System Settings of Virtualmin 7.7. This issue permits remote attackers to inject malicious web scripts or HTML code into the application by manipulating the Plan name field during the editing process of Account plan details. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unintended execution of malicious code in users' browsers, potentially resulting in data theft or unauthorized account access. System administrators are strongly advised to update Virtualmin to a patched version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
