Summary

CVE-2023-47068 is a critical out-of-bounds read vulnerability affecting Adobe After Effects versions 24.0.2 and earlier, as well as 23.6 and earlier. The issue arises when the software parses a specially crafted file, leading to a read past the end of an allocated memory structure. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current user. Successful exploitation requires user interaction, as the victim must open a maliciously crafted file for the vulnerability to be triggered.
