Summary

CVE-2023-47052 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Adobe Audition versions 24.0 and earlier, as well as 23.6.1 and earlier. This issue constitutes an out-of-bounds read vulnerability, enabling an attacker to access sensitive memory content. By exploiting this weakness, cybercriminals can bypass Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR), a critical security mitigation. To successfully launch an attack, the victim must be coerced into opening a maliciously crafted file.
