Summary

CVE-2023-46981 is a newly disclosed SQL injection vulnerability in the Novel-Plus v.4.2.0 software. An attacker can exploit this weakness by sending a malicious script as the sort parameter in the /common/log/list endpoint. Successful exploitation grants the attacker the ability to execute arbitrary code remotely. This type of vulnerability can lead to unauthorized access, data theft, or system damage. It is highly recommended that users update their Novel-Plus installations to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
