Summary

CVE-2023-4694 is a Denial of Service vulnerability affecting certain HP OfficeJet Pro printers. The issue arises when the printers receive a SOAP message on TCP port 3911 with a body but no header. This mismatch can cause the printers to become unresponsive, leading to a Denial of Service condition. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted SOAP messages to the affected printers, rendering them unavailable for use. HP recommends users to apply the relevant patches or updates to mitigate this issue.
