Summary
CVE-2023-46816 is a Server Side Template Injection (SSTI) vulnerability affecting SugarCRM versions 12 before 12.0.4 and 13 before 13.0.2. The issue lies in the GecControl action, where input validation is missing. A maliciously crafted request can inject custom PHP code via the GetControl action, giving attackers with regular user privileges the ability to exploit this vulnerability.
