Summary

CVE-2023-46741 is a vulnerability affecting the open-source cloud-native file storage system, CubeFS, prior to version 3.3.1. The issue allows users to read sensitive configuration keys in plaintext format from the logs, potentially granting them unauthorized access to perform operations on blobs. An attacker, whether an internal user with limited privileges or an external user who has escalated privileges, can delete blogs from the blob store using these keys. The vulnerability has been addressed in version 3.3.1, and there is no alternative mitigation besides upgrading.
