Summary

CVE-2023-46730 is a serious vulnerability affecting Group-Office, an enterprise CRM and groupware tool. The issue lies in the /api/upload.php endpoint, which fails to filter URLs, enabling a full Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) attack. Malicious users can make the server request resources from untrusted domains or even access the server disk using protocols like file://. The attacker can then retrieve the request result via the /api/download.php endpoint. Version 6.8.15, 6.7.54, and 6.6.177 have addressed this issue, and users are advised to upgrade as soon as possible. No known workarounds are available to mitigate this vulnerability.
