Summary

CVE-2023-46658: This vulnerability affects the Jenkins MSTeams Webhook Trigger Plugin version 0.1.1 and earlier. The issue lies in the plugin's token validation, which uses a non-constant time comparison function. An attacker can exploit this weakness to obtain a valid webhook token through statistical methods, posing a significant security risk. The comparison function's inconsistent execution time allows attackers to gather sufficient data to infer the correct token value, making it essential for users to apply the available patch or upgrade to a secure version as soon as possible.
