Summary

CVE-2023-46636 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the David Stöckl Custom Header Images plugin versions 1.2.1 and below. Malicious actors can exploit this flaw to conduct unauthorized actions on behalf of a user, such as modifying plugin settings or making unintended changes to website content. A successful attack requires the attacker to trick the user into clicking a malicious link or visiting a compromised website. Users are advised to update their plugins to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
