Summary

CVE-2023-46621 is a newly discovered reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Enej Bajgoric / Gagan Sandhu / CTLT DEV User Avatar plugin in versions <= 1.4.11. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious scripts through specially crafted URLs. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the vulnerable website and potentially steal sensitive user information or take control of user sessions. This poses a significant risk to websites using the affected plugin and urges immediate updates to mitigate the threat.
