Summary

CVE-2023-46613 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting versions 1.5.1 of the Jens Kuerschner Add to Calendar Button plugin for WordPress. An attacker can exploit this flaw by injecting malicious scripts into a contributor's calendar event description, which is then stored and served to other users, potentially executing arbitrary code in their web browsers when they view the affected calendar event. This could lead to unauthorized account takeover, information disclosure, and other malicious activities. Users are strongly advised to update to the latest version of the plugin or consider disabling it until a patch is available.
