Summary

CVE-2023-46502 is a vulnerability affecting openCRX version 5.2.2. An attacker can exploit this issue to read internal files and execute server-side request forgery (SSRF) attacks. The DocumentBuilderFactory in openCRX is found to be insecure, allowing remote assailants to manipulate XML documents and gain unauthorized access to sensitive information. Successful exploitation could lead to data theft or unintended system command execution. It is strongly recommended that users upgrade to the latest version of openCRX to mitigate this risk.
