Summary

CVE-2023-46499 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting EverShop NPM versions prior to v1.0.0-rc.5. This issue allows a remote attacker to inject malicious scripts into the Admin Panel, potentially gaining access to sensitive information. An attacker could exploit this flaw by crafting a malicious link that, when clicked, executes the malicious script in the context of the EverShop Admin Panel, thereby compromising the security of the affected system. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could result in information theft, and possibly even further unauthorized access to the targeted system. Users are advised to upgrade to the latest version of EverShop NPM as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
