Summary

CVE-2023-46288 is a vulnerability in Apache Airflow versions 2.4.0 to 2.7.0, which allows authenticated users to access sensitive configuration information through the Airflow REST API, even when the expose_config option is set to non-sensitive-only. This exposure of sensitive information poses a security risk to affected systems. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.7.2, which addresses this issue and also fixes CVE-2023-45348, another vulnerability that enabled authenticated users to retrieve individual configuration values via a specially crafted request. Upgrading to a non-affected version is advised to mitigate these security concerns.
