CVE-2023-46281 is a vulnerability affecting multiple Siemens products, including Opcenter Quality (all versions before V2312), SIMATIC PCS neo (all versions before V4.1), SINEC NMS (all versions before V2.0 SP1), and various versions of the Totally Integrated Automation Portal (TIA Portal) from V14 to V18 (excluding versions V18 Update 3). The vulnerability lies in the User Management Component (UMC) within these products, which utilizes an overly permissive Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) policy upon accessing the UMC Web-UI. Maliciously crafted requests can exploit this vulnerability, potentially tricking legitimate users into performing unwanted actions.
