Summary

CVE-2023-46255 is a vulnerability affecting SpiceDB, an open-source database used for managing security-critical application permissions. Before version 1.27.0-rc1, the software would reveal passwords contained in malformed datastore URIs by printing the full URI in logs. This issue, which is reminiscent of Google Zanzibar's design, has been resolved in version 1.27.0-rc1 through a patch.
