Summary

CVE-2023-46234 is a vulnerability affecting the browserify-sign package, which replicates the functionality of node's crypto public key functions. An issue with an upper bound check in the `dsaVerify` function allows attackers to construct signatures that can be successfully verified by any public key, leading to signature forgery attacks. This vulnerability impacts all uses of DSA verification of user-input signatures in the project. The issue has been resolved in version 4.2.2.
