Summary

CVE-2023-46138 affects the JumpServer open-source bastion host and maintenance security audit system. Prior to version 3.8.0, the default email domain for initial user admin password resets was set to an unregistered domain, `mycompany.com`. If this domain is registered in the future, it may compromise the password reset functionality. Version 3.8.0 addresses this vulnerability by changing the default email domain to `example.com`. Users unable to upgrade can manually change their email domains to mitigate the risk.
