Summary

CVE-2023-4613 is a newly identified vulnerability that affects LG LED Assistant installations. This issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code without requiring authentication. The vulnerability is located in the /api/settings/upload endpoint, and it arises due to insufficient validation of user-supplied file paths before their usage in file operations. As a result, an attacker can exploit this weakness to run malicious code in the context of the current user.
