Summary

CVE-2023-46125 affects the Fides open-source privacy engineering platform, which allows users to manage data privacy requests and enforce privacy regulations. The vulnerability lies in the Fides webserver API, where the `GET api/v1/config` endpoint returns configuration data that contains sensitive information about the platform's internals, backend infrastructure, servers' addresses, and ports. While this data is filtered, it is still accessible to Admin UI users with roles lower than the owner role, such as the viewer role. This issue could potentially provide valuable information to attackers, and has been addressed in Fides version 2.22.1.
