Summary
CVE-2023-46096 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting SIMATIC PCS neo versions below V4.1. The PUD Manager in these products fails to authenticate users in the PUD Manager web service adequately. Consequently, an unauthenticated adjacent attacker can capitalize on this flaw and create a privileged token, giving them the ability to upload additional documents. This vulnerability poses a significant risk if not addressed promptly, as it enables unauthorized access to sensitive documents within the affected system.
