Summary

CVE-2023-46085 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting versions 2.2.4 and below of the Wpmet Wp Ultimate Review plugin for WordPress. This issue allows an attacker to trick a user into performing unintended actions on a web application, such as changing account settings or making unauthorized purchases. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient input validation and verification of origin for user requests. An attacker can exploit this flaw by crafting a malicious request and sending it to the targeted user, potentially leading to serious consequences for the affected site and its users. It is strongly recommended that users of the Wp Ultimate Review plugin update to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
