Summary

CVE-2023-46068 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting version 2.16.0 and older of the Maileon for WordPress plugin by XQueue GmbH. An attacker can exploit this admin-level vulnerability by injecting malicious scripts into a victim's Maileon plugin configuration, which can then be executed whenever an administrator views the affected page. Successful exploitation may lead to unauthorized access, data theft, or further compromise of the WordPress site. Users are urged to update the plugin to a secure version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
