Summary

CVE-2023-45957 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the thirty bees e-commerce platform before version 1.5.0. The issue lies in the admin/AdminRequestSqlController.php component, which mishandles error messages from the $e->getMessage() function. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious scripts into a stored entry, leading to the execution of arbitrary web scripts or HTML on unsuspecting users' browsers. Successful exploitation can result in data theft, unauthorized access, or other malicious activities. Users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to the latest version of thirty bees to mitigate this risk.
