Summary

CVE-2023-45886 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting the BGP daemon (bgpd) in IP Infusion ZebOS versions up to 7.10.6. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending maliciously crafted BGP update messages with a malformed attribute. The vulnerability does not allow unauthorized access or data exfiltration but can cause the BGP daemon to crash, leading to a denial-of-service condition. Network administrators are advised to update their ZebOS installations to mitigate this risk.
