CVE-2023-45883 is a newly disclosed privilege escalation vulnerability affecting the Qumu Multicast Extension for Windows before version 2.0.63. This issue arises during a repair process, where a standard user is granted SYSTEM privileges upon opening a pop-up window. Malicious actors can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code with elevated system permissions.
